Concrete Patio Installation in Apex, NC
Think about a warm Apex evening. You want chairs, a grill, and a cold drink after work. Then you look out and see red mud, patchy grass, and a puddle that never dries. A concrete patio fixes all of that. It gives your family a clean, flat place to hang out. It also keeps yellow pine pollen off the grass and on a surface you can hose off.
We build each concrete patio around your yard. We look at the slope, the shade from oaks and pines, and where water runs when it storms. Then we plan the shape, size, and finish. Broom finish is the classic choice, and many people add color or a border. We tie new patios into existing walks and steps so everything lines up. We have poured patios in Holly Springs and Fuquay Varina, plus many Apex backyards.

The Value of Concrete Patio for Your Property
A concrete patio adds living space without adding rooms. It gets used from spring through fall, handles furniture and grills, and makes a home feel finished. For many Apex families, the patio is where weekends happen.
Here is why many Apex homeowners choose this work:
- Extra outdoor living space
- A finish that handles hot summers
- Water sent away from the house
- Almost no upkeep
- Color and border options
- Higher curb appeal and value
- Strength through rain and heat
Quality Workmanship
We pour each patio with careful forms, clean edges, and a smooth finish

Concrete Patios Designed for Apex Yards
Backyards in Apex come in every shape. Some are tight lots in newer neighborhoods. Some are wide lots near Jordan Lake. Each one needs its own slope, so rain heads toward the yard and not toward your back door. Many neighborhoods also have HOA rules, so we help you check size and color before we pour. For free advice on shade plants that pair well with a patio, see the NC Cooperative Extension Wake County Center.
What Makes Our Patio Work Different
We pay attention to small things. We set the forms so the patio sits a little below the door sill. We add control joints so cracks stay neat. We size the pad for a table, chairs, and a grill, with room to walk. Want more style? Ask about decorative concrete. The same crew can also pour a concrete pool deck for the backyard.
Our Concrete Patio Installation Steps
We start by marking the shape with paint so you can see it in the yard. Next, we dig out the area and pack the base. After that, we set forms, add wire mesh or rebar, and pour the concrete patio. We smooth it with floats and give it a broom or custom finish. Then we protect it while it cures. Planning a project near a creek or a buffer? The Town of Apex website is a good place to check the rules.
